- Overall, SDHs, especially aSDHs, were associated with high incidence of PTS. The incidence of ePTS in patients with aSDHs was approximately 28% and in patients with cSDHs 10%. Furthermore, the incidence of lPTS in patients with aSDHs was 43% within 2 years of follow-up whereas in patients with cSDHs it was only 5.3% within 3 years of follow-up, indicating a lower risk of developing epilepsy
